With a 4-0 win by the Chazy Eagles against the Fort Ann Cardinals Nov. 18 in the NYSPHSAA Class D state championships game, Rob McAuliffe skippered his sixth title team since 2004, with other trophies coming in 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2010.

In one of the most dominant seasons witnessed in Section VII and state history, the Chazy Eagles captured their sixth New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class D state title with a 4-0 win over Section II’s Fort Ann Nov. 18 in Middletown.

The Chazy Eagles boys varsity soccer team was the last of nine area sports teams to take the field with a chance to advance to the state final four in their respective sport. While the previous eight were unable to accomplish the task, the Eagles served notice to all of Class D that they were looking to reclaim what they feel is theirs — a New York State Championship.

Defeat NAC, 3-0

The Lady Pats figured it out during the intermission, scoring three times in the final 40 minutes while holding a 15-4 overall shot advantage and forcing 14 corner kicks compared to one for the Lady Bobcats in earning the 3-0 win.
