Runners return to NCCS

Runners return to NCCS By Andrew Johnstone andrew@denpubs.com CHAMPLAIN — The Cougars cross country team is may be small, but ten runners bring past experience into this season. All seven boys, led by team captain Kevin Capito, are returning athletes for NCCS. On the girls side, three of the six are new this year. Jaden Gosselin is the girls’ captain. Coach Darcy Castine, who coached the modified team the last two years, said that the low numbers have made team-building a goal for 2014.
