Keeseville man arrested for Pburgh Stewart’s Shop robbery
Police are still investigating if crimes are connected
A Keeseville man has been arrested in connection with the early morning robbery of the Stewart’s Shop on Cumberland Head on Jan. 9. New York State Police in Plattsburgh arrested David A. Brown, age 49, of Keeseville, in connection with the robbery of the Stewart’s Shop on State Route 9 at approximately 5 a.m. that same day.
Peru Stewart’s Shop robbed
The Stewart’s Shop on State Route 22 in Peru was robbed by an armed suspect at 10:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2, according to the New York State Police in Plattsburgh.

The armed robbery suspect at the Plattsburgh Stewarts matches the physical description of the robbery at the Peru Stewarts Shop on Jan. 2. State Police Lieutenant Brent Davison said at both crime scenes the witness description of the getaway car and the suspect are similar.
Couple robbed at gunpoint
A couple from Queens was held up at gunpoint early Sunday morning, Jan. 6, by five Hispanic men off Exit 33 of Interstate 87, according to New York State Police.
Three Keeseville teens arrested for attempted armed robbery
Three Keeseville teenagers were arrested Sunday, Dec. 9 for armed robbery after allegedly attempting to rob the Keeseville Mobil Station. Dexter T. Nash, 16, of Keeseville, Kevin J. Archer, 19, of Keeseville, and a 12-year-old male juvenile were arrested without incident following the attempted robbery.
Gaudette sentenced in meth arrest
Jaime H. Gaudette, 36, was sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison with two years post-release supervision.
