Bank sets Pacesetter for United Way

Champlain National Bank has committed, once again, to be a Pacesetter for the United Way Campaign. For more than a decade, the Bank has committed to being a Pacesetter, which helps set the tone for the campaign by setting an example of strong support for the community. The Bank is one of 20 businesses in the region who commit to being a Pacesetter. President and CEO Joe Shaw explained, “Being a good corporate citizen is a core value at Champlain National Bank. Our employee level of participation in the campaign makes me proud of our team.” Last year the Bank and its employees donated $11,500 to the United Way. Champlain National Bank was founded in 1909 in Essex County and is still locally owned and managed today. It has branches located in Willsboro, Westport, Elizabethtown, Crown Point, Keene, Plattsburgh, Champlain and Lake Placid.
